Good fats and bad fats for the Keto Diet

With the Keto diet it is a very high fat diet.  As with anything there is always a good choice and a bad choice. Here is a quick list of all your good and bad fats.  We will start with the good list first.

Good fats are usually saturated and monounsaturated. These kind of fats have the greatest impact on  cholesterol, body fat, and joint wellbeing.

Bad fats typically are vegetable oils and trans fats.

Good fats for Keto Diet

  • Olive Oil
  • Nuts
  • Sour Cream
  • Heavy cream
  • Coconut Oil
  • Butter
  • Cream Cheese
  • Avocados
  • Lard
  • Tallow
  • Bacon fat
  • All kinds of Cheese
  • Greek Yogurt

Bad Fat for the Keto Diet

  • Margarine
  • Vegetable Oils like Canola oil, Corn oil, etc
  • And any other that is not on the good list

It is about that simple, stay away from the bad fats and you will do just fine.
